A number of children, adults, and families are visited each week through the bus and visitation ministries. We’re blessed to have the opportunity to reach our community with the gospel of Christ through these outreaches.

We are a mission-minded church. We encourage Faith Promise giving to missions from every member to support our corporate mission program. It is our desire to help as many missionaries as possible to spread the gospel and establish churches here in our country, as well as on foreign fields.
We have been blessed to see some of our members called to be missionaries. We currently have three missionaries that have been sent out from our church, and we are supporting 117 others on foreign and domestic fields.
The Great Commission compels us to continue to do more to get the gospel to a lost and dying world. Our prayer is that God will deepen our burden and challenge our hearts about giving, praying, and going to reach the world with His gospel.

It is a great blessing for our church to minister to the precious folks in the nursing care facilities of our community. During the Sunday School hour, several of our members go to these facilities to sing and teach the Word of God.

We offer a youth program to work with our teens. The goal of the Youth Ministry at Chilhowie Baptist is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship as we reach and disciple young people for Christ. We want to instill in each young person a heart for Christ. We want them to be a Christian who will love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ long after their teenage years.

We have a great Jr. Church program that meets each week during our morning worship service. We also have a tremendous Wednesday evening program for all ages. This program is divided by grade levels. The evening is full of fun with songs, games, and a Bible lesson. It is our desire to teach our children to love and serve the Lord with their whole heart.

We praise the Lord for allowing us to start the Seedline Ministry here at Chilhowie Baptist. Since its start, we’ve been able to send over 2 million Scriptures to many different countries around the world.

The only youth sports program with the 360 Progression™, a uniquely designed sports experience, which grows as the athlete grows.
This program strives to develop young athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.
